Got it regassed today to no avail.
Pressure on the high pressure side goes up with rpms and eventually
(quickly in fact) the cool air dissappears and i'm left with no A/C.

A/C place said it needed a new condenser and receiver drier.
Volvo Mechanic said it needs a new clutch for the pump.

Any suggestions?

What year is it? How many miles? If it is older and has mile on it it could be the compressor. Do you have gauges on it when you say the high side pressure builds? What about the low side?

If it's an 01 when it gets warm turn the temperature control ***** up and down a few times and see if it gets cooler. This is a problem we had.
