Hi all. I bought a 200 V70 base model. I really love it because it is overall a solid car.

The problem with my ac is that when I turn it on, it works for about 5 minutes, then it becomes the same temperature as if it was off. This problem is not specific to hot days, so it's not like the system over heats.

My question is what can I do?

Is this a problem with the coolant?

Is this a problem with the freon?

Or does the ac need to be re-charged?

Sounds like the compressor clutch needs to be reshimmed.
