I am getting back into the Volvo world. Had a 740 wagon in college that was total when I got rear-ended. That was almost ten years ago. I am looking to get into another wagon. I need some help understanding the different platforms. I would like a turbo model and awd. I like the style of the v70 turbo awd vs the xc edition. I would greatly value your inputs, any assistance is greatly appreciated.

 

Buy certified pre owned, you cant beat the benefits, we have an 02 V70XC with 114K and it is flawless. I believe that the V and XC are functionally the same, just trim differences. I think they stopped producing the regular (non XC 70) wagon in 09'... good luck and enjoy!

 

I bought a 2004 with 145K last year. Now has 185k and I can honestly say it is the best driving, performing and all around vehicle I have ever owned. Had a couple little quirks with the headlights and am now changing out the lower control arms otherwise no problems. Love this car
