'98 V70 60K - A/C is clicking on and off about every 6-8 seconds, I looked at the compressor and the clutch is engaging and disengaging. I don't know if the system has ever been charged with R134A since I have only had the car for about two years. I did change the cabin filter a few months ago. Any thoughts? Should I try bleeding it and charging it? Thanks y'all.

 

Just service it. Likely low on freon.

 

Hello, +1 on "just service it". Have it done right though. The tech will empty the system and refill it to spec so you know where you're starting from. Kira

 

Ditto to above. Had same problem and it just needed freon.
