So I've seen in post from Tech that the there is a special tool to remove connection from the fitting at the low pressure end of the accumulator. How does this tool work? Are these connectors reusable?

Also, new accumulator did not come with new O-rings, wonder if I'll need them and if the local parts store will have them when I get ready. Are they "generic" A/C parts?

There is a spring inside the fitting. The tool slides in and streches the spring to open the connection to allow it to come apart. It would be best to replace the o-rings while you are in there. The local store should carry them.
