codes for MAS and ETM issues
Does anyone have the codes for a 2000 volvo v70xc for a failure of the MAS or the ETM modules. I am checking the codes to see what is the issue as my ETS light is on and I have very low rpm's.

The ETS light on indicates that the ETM (electronic Throttle Module) has failed.
A common failure in '99-'02 V70. It's such a common failure(100% failure), that volvo was mandated by the gov to extend the warranty to 10 yrs or 200K miles.
The warranty on your 2000 is over, so its going to cost you. Labor and parts at the dealer will run you close to $1K and it will require software download. Rebuilding your own unit for good thru Xemodex will run you about $600-the best option if you are going to keep the car a few years.
Used units thru the junk yard is a 50 50 proposition, and they might not work at all.
