Differential noise while traction control engages
My 01 V70 makes a nice little grinding noise when the driver's side wheel starts to slip. The traction control works fine, and I know differentials make noise when the trac control engages, but this just sounds different then other cars.
I'm just wondering if that's normal for it to make a sort of clicking/spinning/grinding kinda noise when the tires start to slip. Like I said, it only seems to happen when the driver's side slips, not the pass. side.
It works fine though and engages with no problems.

Yeah tell me about it, but it sure works great, better then other vehicles I have owned. It's almost instant when it kicks in. Other cars usually take a second or two before it really starts working.
