Default Engine coolant issue: 98 volvo v70

I have a 98 volvo s70 wagon with approx 157k on it. I have noticed that the engine coolant was burning up to fast. I checked for leaks and saw none, there has been no puddles after driving, checked the lines to the radiator and saw nothing, checked the oil and saw no foam. Opening up the engine coolant cap the coolant looked fine, some foam, but this was just after I drove it and it settled then. The car runs fine and seems to have no issue. What else can I check for?

Check to see if the carpet is wet on the passenger side. Could be a heater core.

time will tell where/if there is a leak. otherwise, have the system pressure tested. how much coolant is it using? is there any coolant on the outside of the overflow tank (bad cap, etc.)? has the car overheated that you know of? it is possible that a bad head gasket will allow air into the coolant passages, but you should see coolant coming out of the overfill cap.
