Engine Mount Issues
Car is a 98 V70R w/130K
The engine mount in "front", under the timing belt, needs to be replaced. It looks easy. I am familiar with the upper engine mount, the touque rod thing. I replaced the engine side of the torque rod bush with a neoprene solid mount. I didn't do anything to the firewall side of this. The torque rod bushing was completely trashed and I do not know for how long. My real question, how many other engine mounts are on the car, where are they and are they super hard to replace. Also, the other engine mounts, are they prone to failure or are they a bit more robust than the other mounts.
Thanks for any and all advice.

Besides the one under the timing belt there is 2 other ones.
They are Hydrolic. Theey are located between the engine and subframe on the front and rear of the engine.
That is with it sidways. Look at them closely. If you see what looks like rust on them most likely they are bad.
Also another way to check is to look on the drivers side of the car. There is a rubber mount on the subframe under the Transmission. If the Trans. is sitting on it the mounts are bad.
They are a Big pain to replace. The engine needs to be lifted and sometimes the subframe needs to come down some.

Would you suggest a pro for this job? When you say lift the engine, a hoist like contraption or wooden blocks on a floor jack. The loosening of the sub-frame is also the procedure for changing the sway bars right? Maybe I want to do any IPD bars at the same time.
Thanks for the info.
