Does anyone know if you can replace just the flex portion of the exhaust manifold? I thought I saw something somewhere, that suggested that you can. I have a exhaust leak at the flexible section between the manifold and downpipe.

 

John if you have welder you can weld one in. Our 98 V70 looks to have the same exhaust as our 96 NA and the flex coupling is welded in. Check here

But I'm a bit miffed about what lines it. Inner braid?? does this mean bellows or interlocking? I'm thinking of buying from them so I'll have to give them a call to find out.
