Default Headlight Replacement

I hope someone can help me; this ought to be a very simple matter. My wife has a 2007 V70, the headlights on which I thought would last forever. The lower, passenger driving light, i.e. the ones that are on during the daytime, is burned out. I can't begin to figure out how to remove the headlight assembly to replace the headlight. Is that the first step, remove the headlight assembly? Can someone out there explain how I go about this? Are there any gotchas? Is the replacement the same sequence backwards? Any other advice?

I'm not often successful when working on my car, but I keep trying. I want to impress my wife with my mechanical acumen - at least once. I'd really appreciate any help you can give me.
