Heater not Working - It's cold!!!!!!!
Hi all
I have a v70 T5 2003 that has a strange problem with the heating. There is only hot air coming from the drivers vent onto the winscreen. The passenger side is ice cold. Also nothing appears to come out of the other vents when the fan is on full blast, nothing but cold air fromall the vents but no power even when the fan is on. It is as if the vent hoses are not connected up.
There are no leaks that I can see and the 2 hoses that go through the bulkhead are both hot.
Is there an actuator that controls the vents or a fuse that could be blown??
Any help please.
Thanks
Jason

Hi
Thanks for the quick reply.
I have moved all the dials and changed the position on the control many times but still nothing. I don't understand how it all actually works. What I mean is that when the control is turned to put the heat onto the floor what actually happens? Is it an electronic signal that opens flaps to the floor or is there a main "box" that decides where the heat goes.
Thanks
Jason

The motors are under the dash.
You will have to remove the lower dash panel on the drivers side.
Look up like next to the gas pedal. You will see a motor with a linkage going to it. That is one of the heat motors. Make sure the linkage isn't broke.
Have you had the heater core replaced lately?
