I'm looking for a work car and am looking at this 99 XC. Looks really clean. I have a 2011 Audi A4 that I've been beating up so I'm looking to get something quick. I have to do a lot of hard driving for my job and lately I've been doing about 100 miles a day. I've always liked 90's Volvos so this is a good time to get one. This one seems really overpriced so what is a good offer to make?

Well, I bought a 1998 V70 just a week ago off of Ebay, 135,000 miles for $2900.00. Your car is probably worth the price, but compare it to the blue book first. I think you could do better, but that may take some time and lookin. Best of luck//ch

 

KBB has it at 8,500. But I made an offer for 6k and they accepted, plus they'll ship it to me for less then 200 bucks.

 

It's a nice car. Make sure the timing belt and tensioner have been done.
