I can't keep the rain out of my V70!!!
WTF! I am, for the most part, very pleased with my 2000 V70. HOWEVER, when it rains, and I have to open a door or open a window; let's just say, I am un-pleased. Stupid no drip guard havin Volvo! I bought a set of those wind deflectors hoping it would help the water run out past the door when I rolled a window down. DID NOT WORK, and of course that would not help at all when opening a door. CRIPES MAN! This is a freaking Volvo, a pretty well engineered vehicle. So dang aerodynamic you can't open your door in the rain without a wet suit on and a supply of napkins or a towel. I find this intolerable, I'm considering getting an older style wagon that may have drip guards on it. Is thatthe only remedy? Am I the only one who finds this to be ridiculous for a vehicle of this caliber?

That drives me nuts on mine as well. Particularly since my Air-con messes with my transmission, it makes de-fogging a bitch. I have found tho that with the sunroof popped up no rain comes in at all, until you brake and all the water on the roof comes pouring in. Thanks for the warning that wind deflectors don't work. i won't bother now.
