Default Leaking coolant

When I bought the car, the coolant light kept coming on. The radiator, thermostat, top hose which connects to radiator, the fan switch, and sensor which connects to the thermostat All was replaced. Coolant was refilled, the car was driven about 10 miles and back and the coolant seemed to be at the fill line while car was running. As soon as the car was turned off, the coolant was gone. I lifted up the coolant container and a little coolant was in the bottom but the container didnt seem to be cracked. No coolant on the ground dripping. Has anyone had this problem? Where is the coolant going?. The mechanic said there is no head gasket issues. Hes just confused of where the coolant went. Please help.

any smells in the cabin? feel for wetness in the foot well carpet (front and rear) to check if you have a leaky heater core. Check after the refill as well - its possible the first fill didn't clear an air pocket and you may just need to top off. There may even be a vent plug to help (Had this happen with my 850 once - did the top off and good to go)

I agree completely. If there is a coolant leak, usually it goes in the floor of the car. You need to check for that. But certainly you should continue looking around under the hood, and fill it back up, and keep monitoring.
