Default Mileage and Window Questions

Hi All.

I have a 1998 Volvo V70 AWD with 145,000 miles on it. For this car, is this a lot of miles, how long should I expect it to last, years? It is doing town driving with the occasional long haul drive. Also, I am having issues with my windows and power sun roof. In dry condition I am having issues with my windows. They require pushing on them (down) as well as holding down the power window down button. There is also a problem when putting the windows up, they are extremely slow and sluggish. Both sets of windows have this problem, front and rear. However when it has recently rained, the windows go up and down perfectly fine with no issues. This leads me to believe that the issue is not the motor. Could it be a lubrication issue? If so where would I lubricate and how would I do it? Any help is greatly accepted.

Get a can of Spray silicon and spray all the seals and see if that helps.

The car itself should last you atleast another 5 years. But the AWD I won't say anything about.(Weak point on car)

It might but it dry's pretty fast and leaves the seals smooth.

I spray silicone on my door seals pretty regularly. Keeps the rubber from drying out.
