MmMmMmMm..... Codes....
So I'm getting codes again. Just got back from autozone:
P0128 - Coolant Temp
P4022 - main catalyst efficiency for bank 1
Now I keep reading that the 2001 V70 has problems with the injectors and it throws catalytic converter codes.... Is P4022 a cat code? Also, I couldn't find anything conclusive on this.
I also read that one code can lead to another, but I don't know which one it threw first!
Thinking about just resetting the codes..... any pointers on this?

Are you sure the code wasn't P0402? I had the same issue you are having a few weeks ago and I replaced the coolant thermostat. That solved the problem.
I had the coolant temp but my catalyst code read "Catalyst below efficiency threshold" or something similar to what you have, but I believe the code was P0402.
Is your engine temp running at mid-way on the gauge all the time? Tech recommended I replace it to try to solve it the easy way and it worked, but he's the expert. I'm just telling you what I did.
My temp was always running cold, especially now in the winter. I'd be lucky if it stayed 1/4 way up. Once I replaced the thermostat, it was running at normal temps, probably for the first time since I had it, and even in Zero degree weather, the temp gauge stays at half-way.

Hm, I'm pretty sure that's the code it threw, at least thats the printout he gave me.
Injectors.... sounds fun. Any recomendations on where to buy? May as well do a thermostat while I'm at it, that is the other code it threw.

Found'em:

At least the thermostat is only 17 dollars hahaha

This is from a 700/900 FAQ but it should apply tomost injector diagnosis.
