Default motor spins, will not start

I have an 03 V70 2.4t, 98K.
Problem - About 2 months ago I shut the car off, it has not restarted since, the motor spins over it will not restart.
Had it towed to a garage and they said it was the crank sensor, so it was replaced, still, spins with no start, towed it to the dealer, after 2hrs of diag, i'm told it is the ECM - $1800. They said there was no signal.
Towed the car back home and sent the ECM to SIA in IL. I'm told the ECM is fine.
Question, Could the Immobilizer be causing this? Or if this was bad, would the motor not even spin over?
Any help, please.
Thanks

Hello, The descriptions of a bad immobilizer I've read frequently mention the engine catching for a bit. Other descriptions aren't that detailed. Given what you're going through, and for how long, I'd change it. It's cheap and easy to do. Kira

Georgeandkira
Thanks for the reply.
Today I installed the computor and a cam sensor, still no start.
I may try the immobilizer, can't loose anything at this time.
And yes I got fuel pressure.
Wish this thing had at least thrown a check eng light, my luck, it did not.
Thanks again
Edward

I just replaced my ETM and cannot get it started. In trouble shooting, I was told there is a splice in the harness that often carrodes and causes power issues to the ETM. Checking it out, they had me run some checks with my meter and I found no power going to the throttle module. So they had me splice in to go directly from the fuse. Now it has power. I just need to let it dry out cause I flooded it trying to start it. I'm trying it in the morning.

Hey it started this morning. runs great. To check out the power to the etm, you unplug it and look for the brown (ground wire) and the green with white stripe (power) and check to see if your getting power. Thats the problem I had. I'm told these 2000 V70 had issues with the engine harness, and the splice with the etm and the gas peddle. The etm wire usually corodes and looses connection. Bypassing the harness worked like a charm.

Mike thanks
Got no corrosion.
There is power to the ECM.
I will have some time soon to go after the transmitter and then the immobilizer.
Keeping my fingers crossed
Thanks
Edward

Hello mgreen, You spliced a jumper into the green w/white stripe wire at/near the ETM plug and where at the other end? Thanks, Kira

I'm back.
From my last post, had the car towed to a place called the SwedishCarClinic in Harbor City Cal.
They told me the ECM was bad - agreeing with the local dlr.
Towed the car back home and sent the ecm to the Computor Outlet in Detroit, MI.
They told me the ECM was bad and sold me a blank unit that they impregnated with info from my original computor. I
was told it would be a plug and play.
It arrived today, I installed it today, SAME THING.
The motor spins will not start.
I've had it, the car has been down a little into 4 months. There is no mony to keep throwing at it, been out of work for 3 yrs now.
This car has now ruined plans I had to take my kids on a road trip this summer to the Grand Canyon.
Anyone have any idea,
All the electronics work, from the radio to the door locks.
I've got fuel pressure, but no spark. The motor spins but will not start.
The ECM is a known good unit, the immobilizer and sending ring
have been checked - ok
It was running great, there were no warning lights on,
it was shut off and just would not restart.
I got rid of a Honda for this, at this point I Keep asking
why.
