no cooling fan

no cooling fan

My98 v70's cooling fan is not turning,I think its the relay.Any other
suggestions?

Hello, Do a search on that one on ALL the Volvo boards. I've seen posts on the relay you mentioned. Isn't there a temperature sensor on the fan's motor support; right in the air flow? Kira

If I tap the relay unit,the fan turns, if the sensor was bad you could not get the fan to turn by tapping on the relay.
