Question o/s/f driveshaft support bearing removal ?

hi , i'm replacing the outer cv joints on the front end of my 99 xc and need to replace the support bearing , ive removed the outer section of the whole assembly and i'm left with an intermediate shaft (from the box) with a larger diameter shank towards the outer end . this has a stop ring, bearing ,then a flange housing the inner cv , then a pressed steel shroud that reduces in size to take the larger opening of the inner cv boot.
does anyone know which direction or how this comes apart ?
maybe iv'e read the haynes manual wrong , but i think it's telling me theres a circlip retaining the bearing as it's the next process after seating the bearing against the stop ring . but i cant find any other circlips other than the cv/shaft clip . and inside the inner cv joint looks like a "1 piece forging? at the moment it looks like it has to be removed after the casing holding the cv has been taken off ?

i'm sure iv'e seen a pictoral post of how to do this , but cant find where ? so any help would be great ,
cheers
Daren.
