Default Oil leaking "from" the turbo

Hello,
I was told by my inferior mechanic that I have oil leaking from the turbo and that he won't touch it. He says he doesn't work on imports. any thoughts on what this might be? some sort of seal?

A fellow member on this site (gdog) turned me on to the aa1car site as a place to read up on failure mode diagnosis. It's a real good place to learn about the basics of how things are supposed to work and some common failure modes.

Turbo drain tube seal and gasket. Common problem, easy fix. Also, check for an obstructed PCV system. That will cause oil leaks as well. And find a mechanic who specializes in European cars or just Volvos. Even the ones who are willing often don't understand some of the things that European carmakers tend to do differently.

And would someone please swat the spammer above my post!
