Hi everyone..well, just wanted to get some opinions on a possible exhaust upgrade. I currently have a stock exhaust on my 2006 v70 2.5T..the only thing i did on my car was get a chip tune (should be around 240hp)...
I don't know which way to go..some have said to put a 3" down pipe, which i'm iffy about, i kinda want to keep the emission section Kosher, if you will, and worry that a custom 3" down pipe might cause problems BUT it does give you some HP gains. So i might consider doing that, but i would go with a cat-back exhaust..Right now i'm leaning towards a magnaflow setup (Sound wise) . I don't know what to put on though, i'd like a nice low tone at idle and a nice rumble at WOT..but i don't want to get the dreaded 2000RPM "DRONE" in the car. Should i go with a magna resonator and muffler at the back? just a muffler at back? what would you suggest? and if you recommend other muffler companies..which one? thanks
