Default Possible grounding issue? '01

I love my car, I love my car, I love my car (despite the 152 problems it has). '01

I THINK I may have an electrical grounding issue. When the car is in idle, the cabin light fluctuates. Voltage at the battery is fine when running and when turned off. I have no fluctuating headlights, dash lights, etc, nore have I had any electrical problems and no add-on accessories, so I am trying to rule out an alternator problem.

Also, when I use my wiper washers, the sprayer pump causes static interference to come out of the rear speakers, even if the radio is off, and using the front sprayer (makes absolutely no sense to me).

When snooping around in the engine compartment, I saw a bare ground connection wire that goes from the pass. side rear of the engine to the chasis. That cable is at the early stages of corroding. I'm not sure if that is where the main ground is for the engine or not, or if that would cause those issues.

This, and the servo noise coming from the dash, https://volvoforums.com/m_125172/tm.htm make me wonder if I just simply have a short or grounding issue somewhere.

I have an electronics background but don't know the wiring of the V70 well enough to know where to start. All fuses are fine, voltages are fine, etc.

Any ideas or has anybody had any of these issues before?

Thats pretty weird. I know when reading DTC's they normally do that.

It's not a whole lot, but enough to make me wonder if I should just not worry about it or be concerned. It's enough to notice it, but not enough to cause a problem. The engine idle remains constant when this happens, in Drive or Park.

If you don't think it's a big deal, that's fine. I just am more of a preventative maintenance person rather then waiting for things to break completely. Kinda how I discovered the torque mount going bad. I could hear it.

I would just watch it for a little while and see if it gets worse.
