Can anyone tell me exactly where the reversing light switch on a V70 XC AWD is? Our car is a 1998 2.4 litre turbo. I know the switch is accessed under the hood, rather than inside the car at the shift selector, but I can't locate it.

I believe it's at the shifter. Also, a bad PNP switch can effect reverse lights.
