Right motor mount
My car had a flat tire so I took it in for repair. Was told the right motor mount needs to be replaced. How extensive a job is this? How important is it? Does it need to be done right away? Is it a result of all the potholes in the raids today? Thanks!
It is not from any pothole, normal wear and tear. It is relatively easy to replace, support engine, un bolt, raise engine R&R, lower engine, tighten bolts. If this one is shot your two tourqe mounts are probably shot (upper and lower) along with your strut bar bushings.
thanks - they quoted me $427 - with one and one-half hours labor and the motor mount. seems like a lot to me, what do you think and how soon should I gwt this done?

What year is your car? Here are some instructions I posted.

Don't hesitate checking the 850 DIY sticky if you have a pre 2001 V70.
