Default Service Alarm Code??? Sun Roof Dead, Are they Linked??

Hello,

I have recently got a Service Alarm Code on my dash?
Also, my sunroof does not work, i have heard that the 2 maybe linked??

Can anyone clarify and what does the Service Alarm Code require??

Yes they are connected.

It usually means the siren is bad.

I have the same problem, is the only way to get rid of that fault is to take it to the dealer and let them remove the software. Or is there an easy way to get rid of this fault. I really don't want to get charged $74 for the dealer to look at it and pay another unknown fee to get it fixed. And since when does a alarm have to do with a sunroof?

The sunroof is tied into the upper electronic module(Rear View mirror) so is the alarm siren and door locks.
