I'm looking for a tailgate locking mechanism for a 98 T5Turbo. any info on whose has a brothal of parts for Volvo is appreciated.

Try Erie Volvo. You can find their website, but you need to call them. I don't have their 800 number with me right now, but you can find it in other posts I have made and in the General section in the resources thread.
