tires rubbing... dealer says thay all do that

Default tires rubbing... dealer says thay all do that

WHat can be done about the ties rubbing, and is it a design flaw?[:@]

Does your car have the 17 inch tires?
If it does yes they all do it and there isn't much you can do about it unless you want to loose more of your turning ability.

It's official. They all do that when fitted with 17" wheels. I am a cop in the UK and we got the first batch of V70N traffic cars in 2000. We all commented about the rubbishy turning circle and the fact that the tyres rubbed on the inner wings. Volvo's response was: "They all have the same turning circle and the rubbing tyres is not detrimental to the lifespan of the tyres." So there.
