Can anyone tell me if the transfer case on a 2000 Volvo V70 XC can be rebuilt, or where I can find a good used one?

I am told that 2000 was the only year to use this type of transfer case.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello, This will get you started---> http://www.brickboard.com/AWD/index....357&show_all=1 The only way I'd install a used unit would be if I knew it was a working unit with low miles. Then I'd be sure to change it's fluid. A mere guarantee from a junkyard wouldn't be enough. The author of the above post seems to be a very hands on guy. Kira
