Hi, Guys hope you all had a great new year.
I have noticed when taking of in ist the car pulls quite nice but when going into second it seems like the turbo is struggeling, the best way to describe it is like the old fashioned carby not benig tuned or maybe a bit dirty. it kind of give's you little spurts of power, rather than the consistant power it usually gives...any advise would be great...car has 82,000 km 2000 v70 2.4t new shape.

Isn't the boost limited? I maybe wrong.

 

They are kind of Weird like that.
The boost control Valve backs off on the turbo some. 1st gear will always be the gear you feel the most.

 

Hi Guys, So i assume that the problem is quite normal, just have never noticed it before, could it be something else?

If you feel the boost the turbo is working. The only way to make it feel better would be to have the ECM reprogrammed.
