Hi all,
First off I would like to thank any one who can help. I have a 2003 v70 2.4 it has 67,000 miles on it I am the second owner. This is the problem I have been having, when I drive the car there is a click in the dash it comes on when I am driving at 10 MPH then again at 15mph and again in 20mph and again I think at 30.. it is harder to hear at the faster speeds too much road noise...
the windows are up the radio is off and the AC is off and lastly the recerqulation butten is off. I have the extended warranty and it has been in the shop 3 times, they have changed both damper motors but there is still a clicking noise. also now there is a strange rattal on the dash in thepassanger side. when the weather is cold But that seems to only happen in the early am I live in Los Angeles so usually it is not that cold.

Does it stop when changing the temp?

For the noise hold the glovebox door up and see if the noise goes away.

 

Thanks for the help! The noise does not stop. but the load click has turned into many clicks and they are not as load but there are more if them this is so strange.

 

I can't help, but I can prove that your not nuts I have the same "problem". When I drive with the fan off, I can hear the ticking every now and again. It sounds like the AC adjusting something.
