Default V70 T5 blown turbo possible head damage advice?

Hi guys I am currently in the market for a very reliable car to get me to school and work everyday and I stumbled on a V70 T5. The down side is that it had turbo problems and possibly head problems also. So I was just wondering if anyone on here has had any experience with this situation? I have a mechanical background but I don't want a money pit and I don't want to buy this and end up with a unreliable car. The seller also has a parts car that he may sell me that has a good head.

Let me know what you think, and all help is greatly appreciated!!!

Heres the ad:
1998 Volvo V70 T5 Manual Wagon + Extra Turbocharger $900 O.B.O - Nova Scotia Cars For Sale - Kijiji Nova Scotia Canada.

and if you are unable to see it the seller posted this information:

I'm selling my Volvo V70 T5 Manual (2.3L Turbo). I have two other Volvo T5 SE's, one of which is a parts car.
NOTE: Mileage is in MILES, not Kilometers

Reason for selling:
Turbo is either blown, or has a bad leak; it - and most likely the head (top of engine) weren't getting the oil they needed and were damaged. I'm selling this car with another rebuilt turbo from a GLT (low pressure turbo).
The car sat over x-mas break and was only started once since then. It ran rough (tapping/knocking), with white smoke from the exhaust - (due to turbo) It needs a battery, and probably a cylinder head.

Feel free to make an offer, if I don't sell it soon I'll strip it for parts like my other one.

Info:
It's originally bought from the U.S. - American model. It's has only seen one winter (in Quebec), and this current winter.
It has no rust; the undercarriage is in great shape. The high mileage is 80% highway in and around farm areas of Hatley, Quebec. It's fully loaded; leather heated seats, traction control, CD player, Sunroof, Cruise. It comes with original Volvo 16 inch Alloys and a set of steel wheels for winter.

Previous owner did oil changes every 5000-6000kms.
Comes with another rebuilt Turbo 13T - Low Pressure Turbo (From a GLT)

New Parts In Last 1800-2300 Kms / 1 Year:

New Timing Belt
Water Pump
Tensioner Pulley
Idler Pulley
Serpentine Belt and Tensioner
A Rebuilt Alternator
Starter Motor
Rear trailing arm bushings/Delta arm Links
PCV/Breather System (Oil separator & hoses)
Distributor Cap & Rotor
E-brake was done

KMS on the car:265000
Car Year :1998

If you are pretty handy with tools I would go for it.
First thing you will need to do is see for your self what it is doing.
Also when you look at it unless they washed it before showing it you might see traces of oil on the back bumper. That would be if the turbo is bad. Also check the dipstick for milkshake.(headgasket)
