I have a 2000 V70 R and think that it might have a chip, where do I look for it?

 

ecu? either way it will be in the black box right in front of the coolant reservoir. To the left of the engine. I dont think you will be able to just tell if its chipped. I would prolly just leave well enough alone. Remember you have an R which IS FAST.

 

Depending on the chip manufacture...there might be a sticker or something on it, but that would require you to unplug the ECU and open it up. The "R" is pretty quick.
