2018 xc60 shaking
Hey everyone problem was fixed. So i had Terrible shaking in the car over 48mph Volvo did the high speed balance and found two of the front tires was shot. Inside the front tires we don’t see is a foam this from potholes or NYC roads caused this issue an. I had To purchase two new front tires but I have tire coverage. However, tire coverage only covers blow outs or flats and not this. Volvo said they will go half which was half of 700 but I also had a coupon for 100 off which cost be 250. I told The guy give me keys back and i will Come back with two blown flat tires. He looked at me and said that’s fraud lolol. I said u guys do fraud all the time when u sell vehicles. He did not have a response. So anyone else having these issues 48 and over this is what is doing it have it the top balance done

foam inside the tires? not sure what that is all about. Did anyone use a can of fix-a-flat on your tires? So, yes you can damage a tire via pothole that will tear the inner fibers or pinch the sidewall where the tire will hold air but is not roadworthy. As to what the tire coverage will pay for, that's up to you to read the legal fine print to see the coverage definitions. My concern would be whether the rims are still true - as you can have a bent wheel or two that will hold air but not balance correctly.
PS - in this area I've learned through experience to keep my tires way firmer than the sticker on the gas door recommends. I typically go 36 to 39 PSI (depending on which car) - a little firmer ride but it will substantially reduce the risk of pot hole damage/ blowouts.
