We've just taken delivery of a 2022 XC60 B5 Inscription and the first thing we did was search for Amazon Music in the Play Store, and installed what we found.

However, this isn't the full version of Amazon Music - despite announcements that Amazon Music was now available for Android Automotive (not just Android Auto - we've had that on other vehicles for a couple years). We subscribe to the Amazon Music HD service and on a good audio system the HD, Ultra HD, Atmos, and 360 audio are stunning.

The version that is available is called "Amazon Music: Discover Songs" - which doesn't have any "Library" function - you can't get any of your songs or playlists as a subscriber. It's almost like a "preview" app. Polestar drivers are in the same boat.

I've opened an Amazon Music forum thread on this and have received an "Amazon Staff" reply that was...less than encouraging, for many reasons. If you would like to see a full-featured version of Amazon Music for our vehicles, please visit the thread and upvote/comment/commiserate.
