Hey all - I had an important Parking Pass slide in between the HUD cover/trim piece above the instrument panel. I am wondering if You believe it is worth the effort in trying to remove these pieces to retrieve the pass. I have a short timeline and am not a mechanic, but I do love my R-Design T6. How can I remove that xc60 hud cover piece? I don't want to damage it. Is there an easy trick to making it pop off? Would removing the instrument panel trim also be necessary? I question how much the Parking Pass could have moved around inside once it found the HUD seem. I'm assuming it is lodged in there but close to the surface but I cannot see it or feel it currently.

The cover comes out pretty easily, it has 3 clips on the front and 2 on the back. I used a plastic spatula to lift the front and then pulled it with my fingers and the front popped up, the back came up quite easily after that.
