I need to replace the rear rotors and pads on a friends 2019 xc60. Looking online, i couldnt find much about backing out the piston without a scan tool. I saw some videos use a 9v battery and others taking the electronic motor off.. after talking with FCPEuro (where i ordered the parts), they said the couldnt confirm that those methods work on the SPA platform. Anyone here able to back out the electronic pistons without a scan tool or am I stuck getting one?
