I have a 2014 XC60 3.2. Moving the power steering reservoir out of the way doesn't provide enough room to remove the oil filter cap from the engine area.
There's almost enough space, but the dipstick tube is in the way.
Right now, after unscrewing the cap, I move it to the left and then remove and replace the filter with the cap still in the engine compartment.
It's been years now... still haven't found a solution. I'd really like to know how to do it. I think the process would go smoother if I could remove the oil filter cap from under the hood.
I appreciate your advice.
