Good day folks. XC60 T5, 48,000km 2012.

Had a check engine light, replaced oxygen sensor, spark plugs, throttle body cleaning.

Week later, I feel a rough RPM jerking while driving. RPM seems to jump in 2-300RPM at a time. Even with cruise control on, continuous RPM fluctuation of approximately 200RPM up and down.

Volvo dealership seem to think it's a transmission issue. It's there now waiting for a reply once the fluid temperature drops (35C), they can start testing it.

Any thoughts?

BTW, in N, if I press on the gas, RPM runs smoothly.

Thanks for that Tony. Would this generate an error code? Cos when it was diagnosed simply via the error code readings, no errors showed up.
