Default Volvo Electronics Crash

2019 XC60: Yesterday our touch screen system would not increase volume. Every time we turned it up, the tine phone showed at the top. We disconnected the phone, turned off the blue tooth and still.. no sound fro AM,FM Sirius, etc. Today, its fine... any similar stories?

There is a thread out there that suggests a bad cable connecting the phone can cause the touch screen system to crash. I've had the entire infotainment crash (dashboard included) a few times, but I run developer OS releases on my phone so I'm guessing that has been the issue. Often the phone seems hot or misbehaving in some way, which usually disconnecting it for a few minutes while the infotainment reboot clears the problem. This does not occur often, may once every couple of months.
