I have a 2010 Volvo Xc60 T6 and I was working on the right hand side front suspension and notices this wires dangling loose, it looks like a grounding wire. any ideas where it should bolt on to ?

Yes that is a ground wire - where's the other end go? My guess is it may be to ground the transmission but a peek at a wiring diagram should help. google around they are generally available.
