2004 XC70 Headlamp adjustment advice
Recently I replaced my H7 socket that seemed to crumble when I tried to remove it. I was able to buy a replacement socket w/pigtails and splice it into place. During the time the socket was failing it must have created an arc because the bulb and fuse also needed replacing. The bulb was a standard halogen.
I replaced both H7 bulbs with Sylvania Silverstar Ultra White. Now I notice that both bulbs appeared to be aimed much higher than the previous standard bulbs. All I did was replace bulbs as directed. Is there higher beam part of the geometry of the new Sliverstar? Should I adjust the beam lower? It appears these new bulbs are aimed higher than the "high beam" when you flash the lights against a wall.
Any advice?
