I have never owned a volvo but am really interested in a used xc70. Is 2006 a good year to buy? 80,000 miles with clean interior and exterior. Any thoughts are appreciated!

 

Yes, a 2006 xc70 is a very good car to buy. It is one of the last years of production for that body style and by that year volvo had worked out almost all of the bugs from previous years. It also comes with the bullit proof 2.5L 5 cylinder engine with a very reliable aisin warner transmission. This engine is a favorite of all volvo techs. But as with any used vehicle make sure to take it to a dealership or your mechanic for a pre-buyers inspection. Know what you're getting before you buy. Hope this helps
