Today I made the huge mistake of trying to insert a aux power converter into my cigarette lighter. I think it is too long and that it might have pushed back the end of the outlet. I tried to pull it back with some needle nose pliers but had no luck.

My car is a 2003 XC70.

I am going to check the fuse tomorrow morning to see if it was just that. But if anyone has any info that could help me that would be great.

How to disassemble the center console in case I need to replace the lighter outlet?
How to maybe repair the outlet that is in there?
