I have a 04 xc70 It has started shaking when driven at any speed, took it to the dealer, they said it needs a new ball joint, alignment and also the angle gear is out of it. Do I have to repair the bevel gear or can I remove the rear drive shaft? Or is it a fairly easy job I can do myself, I have done all the wheele bearings on the car. Should I do the ball joint first then see how it drives? alignment and tire balance?
