Broken timing belt subject

Broken timing belt subject

Since my belt has snapped, is it necessary to remove the sprockets from the cams or can I just pull the whole head and do it on my bench??

Will be taking detailed pictures and post them shortly.

Sometimes you can leave them on other times you need to remove them.
