Default DIY Alternator Replacement, 2004 XC70

I just completed replacing a noisy alternator in my 2004 XC70 with 71K miles. It was more complicated that other cars I've done it on but manageable. If anybody is interested in the details I can share them otherwise not.

I am trying to replace the alternator on my 04 XC90. I have removed about 20 bolts from PS pump, belt tensioner, belt...but cannot seem to get the alternator loose from the mount. It rocks around a little, but will not come out. Then, I do not see how I will be able to get the alternator out of the engine compartment. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

have an 02 XC70 and the alternator is making a clicking noise at around 1100 RPM. would like to pull it out and have it rebuilt how much trouble is it and do you have any pointers to make it go easy?
