My engine mount on the top of the motor near the firewall seems loose and I can move it with my hand without pushing very hard. Can anyone tell me if this play is supposed to be in this motor mount or does it need to be replaced?

 

Which style mount is it?
Square or round?

 

i believe it is square, hard to tell just looking at it. When the car is in park and I can push on the bumper and this mount moves back and forth as I push the car back and forth, I believe it's had it. Do you agree tech?

 

Upper engine stabilizer mount is what I am referring to.

 

If it is the square one that is normal.(Crappy design in my opinion)
The bar(strut looking brace) will move some normally.
