Yeah, I know this is a dumb question, but how do you identify the exact type of auto transmission in a 2000 V70XC? It is a 4 speed and all I have is the owners manual, but it is a little unclear as to exactly which one is in the car and apparently there are a couple of choices, if I'm reading correctly. Is there a plate somewhere with this info? Is it determined by VIN? (production date/sequence, etc).
I am assuming it is a AW50-42LE, but I admit it is a guess. Is this correct?
