The "flip" on my key has died, anyone any idea on how to get into the thing to see what is wrong? Under the battery cover there is a torx screw that allows the two parts to be separated but no apparent way to split key housing to see how flipper works, suggestions welcome.

 

That half of the key will need replaced and programmed at a dealer. I don't think it can be fixed.
